Payment
New Leaf Therapy does not store or accept any cash on the premises. You are able to pay before or after your session via the following ways:
- EFTPOS machine in clinic
- Direct bank transfer - New Leaf Therapy follows a 3 day term for payments to be made.
- Charging your debit/credit card online - New Leaf Therapy can securely store your debit/credit card details on our system. If you wish for us to process payments on your behalf, we can do so. Payments will be charged on the same day as your appointment using the card details held on your file. A 'paid' invoice will be automatically generated from the system and sent to your email for record keeping purposes.
- NDIS Participants only - Regardless of therapy method, invoices will be sent directly to the Participant if you are self-managed or to your Plan Management Company if you are plan-managed.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
We understand that life does not always run to schedule, we know that unexpected delays and emergencies can occur! However your time, effort and well-being are important to us.
Our clinic operating hours are 10:00am to 3:00pm. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please email admin@newleaftherapy.net.au or text New Leaf Therapy on 0424 695 505 with a minimum of 2 business days' notice to avoid incurring a cancellation or rescheduling fee.
If you provide less than 2 business days' notice, you will incur a fee equating to the cost of the appointment. Two business days are considered as the previous two consecutive days from your appointment day, excluding weekends and public holidays (e.g. to cancel a Thursday appointment, notice must be given by Monday before 4:00pm; to cancel a Tuesday appointment, notice must be given by the previous Thursday before 4:00pm to avoid being charged a late cancellation fee).
Automated email reminders are sent 4 days' prior to all scheduled appointments to allow for time to make changes to your appointment. If you arrive to your appointment late, please be advised that we cannot extend your session duration. We will wait for you for 15 minutes. Your appointment will then only last the remaining duration that was originally allocated for your session. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your scheduled appointment, New Leaf Therapy will not be able to accommodate you. A missed appointment will be deemed as a "non-attendance" appointment and you will be charged the full fee of the missed appointment. The admin team will attempt to contact you via email and phone over the following 3 business days. If we do not hear back from you within that timeframe, our policies for safety and welfare concerns permit us to reach out to your listed next of kin/emergency contact person on your behalf. If we are unable to contact your next of kin/emergency contact person, New Leaf Therapy may choose to contact your local police station to request that they conduct a welfare check at your listed address.
For NDIS participants, a cancellation is a deemed a short notice cancellation if the participant:
