Psychological Interventions
- New Leaf Therapy is able to provide therapy to clients aged 16 and above. We offer sessions either face to face in clinic or via telehealth (zoom). Within the initial session, your psychologist will work with you to collaboratively develop a treatment plan that aligns to your goals and needs.
- The most common concerns that we can provide support for are depression, anxiety, stress, difficulties with communication and self-advocating, challenges reinforcing boundaries, low self-esteem and self-confidence, emotion dysregulation and sensory dysregulation, neurodivergent burnout and burnout recovery, and relationship or workplace challenges.
New Leaf Therapy offers the following treatment modalities:
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
- Motivational Interviewing & Mindfulness
- Solution-Based Therapy
- EFT Tapping
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
New Leaf Therapy is able to support clients via:
- Medicare utilising a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP)
- Private (full-fee paying)
- NDIS self-managed participants
- NDIS plan-managed participants
Please note that New Leaf Therapy DOES NOT practice with or support the use of
Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) therapy which focuses on the suppression and alteration of authentic traits, expressions and needs of autistic individuals.
We are not currently accepting new clients seeking ongoing therapy.
